NEC to Demonstrate 5G Digital Transformation of Cities at Mobile World CongressEscrito por Redacción TNI el 25/02/2018 a las 21:22:31
During 2018’s Mobile World Congress (26th February to 1st March, Barcelona), NEC Iberica will present the key features of its Smart City Platform (CCOC) and how it is able to interact with sensors and IoT devices from different suppliers, thus providing the best end-to-end solution for city operation centres.
In Hall 3, Stand 3M30, the NEC team will demonstrate how NEC's Smart City platform (CCOC) allows greater efficiency of the management of public services, focusing on the reporting and prediction of events within verticals such as waste management, smart water, air quality and lighting. NEC will also demonstrate how the collection of such data can optimize the use of 5G, LoRa and Sigfox communication networks for IoT devices.
The CCOC (Cloud City Operation Centre) solution showcases how real-time data collection and analysis of information from around the city contributes to the swift provision of municipal services, therefore, reducing the work load at monitoring centres, by automating the analysis of cities. This, in turn, reduces the public operational costs by using technology to crunch and visualize the data, while city planners can focus on taking decisions for the public welfare.
NEC will also present its key European deployments of Smart City Solutions, including the smart waste project deployed in Santander City, Spain, which enables a more efficient and economic collection of the city´s waste, and the Integrated Operational Urban Platform for Lisbon City, Portugal, which allows the integration and centralized management of all the city´s operations and events.
I youwant to discover the benefits of a citizen centric solution http://www.necsmartit.com/mwc, or meet NEC in person during MWC in Hall 3, Stand 3M30.
