Harnessing the power of the HERE Mobility Marketplace, an open and competitive mobility marketplace that aggregates all locally available mobility services in real-time, SoMo presents users with a variety of transportation options to best fit their needs, including taxis, public transportation and more; merging urban transit with a free ride-share layer.
SoMo fills a key void in the mobility market, with consumers increasingly craving social mobility experiences. According to a McKinsey survey, half of ridesharing users enjoy taking rideshares for social outings. SoMo not only provides users a unique way of traveling to social outings, but by tapping into users’ social circles, the rides themselves become social outings.
