Everdrone will support the Stockholm Ambulance service with drones

The agreement between Everdrone and the Ambulance Services Administration runs until spring 2027. The system will be implemented and tested before transitioning to operational deployment during 2026.


“We have already conducted an analysis of previous acute incidents as well as airspace availability to determine the geographical placement of the drone system. The agreement is another important step in our work to make fast and safe drone-based emergency responses available.”


This is Everdrone’s second partnership in Sweden, following its project with the Västra Götaland Region, which has been in operational use for several years.


“We can now contribute to faster delivery of life-saving equipment and improved decision support in the Stockholm region. It is encouraging that another Swedish region is now taking the step to introduce drone technology as a complement to emergency medical services,” says Mats Sällström, CEO of Everdrone.
