5G Americas applauds confirmation of Brendan Carr and Jessica Rosenworcel as Commissioners of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) by the U.S. Senate and initial nomination by President Donald J. Trump. 
 


Brendan Carr has a long-standing history with the agency, most recently serving as the FCC’s General Counsel. Prior to that, he was the lead wireless and international legal advisor to FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai.



Jessica Rosenworcel has served as a Commissioner at the FCC from 2012 to 2016 and this will mark her second time serving in this important role. The confirmation of Brendan Carr and Jessica Rosenworcel for these roles is crucial to ensuring our region leads in 5G.
