(ITSCOOL)  International Girls in ICT Day is an opportunity for girls and young women to get an insight into ICT sector to consider ICT careers through open days at ICT institutions, meeting women role models, and getting ?hands on? experience in technology in practical workshops.
The Member States of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) agreed in 2010 to celebrate the International Girls in ICT Day on the 4th Thursday of April, every year.
